Shoemaker
Motion Picture Company LLC.
Since
1945

|
It
all started in1945 as Don Shoemaker returned home from World War
II to pursue a childhood dream of opening his own business. That
dream became a reality in his parent's garage at 115 North Drexel
in Indianapolis Indiana, which was formed by his father's enthusiasm
for motion pictures. From that humble beginning; two projectors
and a few films, came Shoemaker Motion Picture Company.
Don
was a pioneer in the audio visual business. He was one of the first
in the business to rent and sell 8mm and 16mm DeVry projectors.
At one time, the business could boast of being the world's largest
16mm film library.
Since
then, Shoemaker Motion Picture Company has kept on the cutting edge
of technology. Moving into video, computer, and television we are
a major supplier for Sony, Panasonic, JVC, to name a few.
As
the company grew, so did the need for more space. In more than half
a century of service, Shoemaker Motion Picture Company has been
in four other locations; 124 West Vermont, 343 North Capital, 345
North Capital, and currently 3901 Meadows Drive.
